About TiEA

Taiwan Internet and E-Commerce Association (TiEA) was founded in 2012 and is now the largest industry organization of its kind in Southeast Asia with 200+ internet companies in its member base, including the heavyweights such as PChome, momo, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, LINE and Yahoo!.

Ex-President Ma Ying-Jeou attended the press conference of the founding of TiEA.

TiEA is dedicated to build consensus among industries and serve as two-way communication platform between the government and the private sectors; to push for a reasonable and friendly business environment for Internet and E-commerce industry.
In addition, TiEA pays attention to fostering the talent of innovation and technology startup as well as to promoting the well-use of internet resource for assisting the fully upgrades of traditional industries in Taiwan, encouraging the integration of software and hardware industries, and providing service via internet development.

TiEA visited President Tasi Ing Wen and called for upgrading the sector to be a key industry
of national strategic importance.
